Randy Mitchell

Personal Experience

Named “Businessperson of the Year” in 2018 by a local Chamber of Commerce, Randy Mitchell is a long-time leader in the greater Charlotte small business community.  He has helped thousands of people explore self-employment options or transition out of business ownership.  A former Fortune 50 HR executive, and a licensed real estate agent, he has consulted in franchise, business, and real estate transactions since 2002.

With a commitment to lifelong learning, Randy is one of just a few individuals in the greater Charlotte area to have earned designation as a Certified Business Intermediary by the International Business Brokers Association. He is also recognized as a Certified Franchise Consultant by the International Franchise Professionals Group.  He has a master’s degree from Purdue University’s Krannert Graduate School of Management.

Buying or selling a business can be a stressful and fearful experience.  Randy’s calm and empathetic approach, along with his sharp attention to the details of a transaction, puts clients at ease in exploring their options and making choices that align with their goals and expectations.

In volunteer roles, he is frequently called upon by local government and business organizations to facilitate events and problem-solving gatherings.  He is the former president of the Matthews Chamber of Commerce and currently is in key leadership roles with several area non-profit and networking organizations.  Randy is an Eagle Scout and the father of one too.  He and his wife Gwen have lived in Matthews for more than 20 years, and you’ll often see them walking area greenways with their dogs.
